"Captain Mike and Chef Roberta welcome you aboard their 72 ft. sailboat Ayacanora. They will be your crew sailing throughout the islands. They will customize your cruise and tailor your menu to meet your needs.

Mike has a 500 ton masters license and a 100 ton sailing endorsement. He was born in Nebraska, but joined the Navy at the age of 18 and developed a passion for the ocean. He spent 10 years in the submarine service, 5 years in the Merchant Marines and has been a captain of many commercial vessels.

Roberta holds a degree in Culinary Arts & Management and graduated cum laude as a certified chef. She is also a United States Coast Guard certified Captain. She was born in Washington state, growing up enjoying the seafood of the Great Northwest. She has owned and operated a restaurant "The Pantry", a wholesale muffin business, "American Maid Muffins" and a catering business, "Ashore and Afloat". Her culinary skills made it easy to adapt to cooking in a small space, however she didn't want to be a slave to her galley. Her charter guests would marvel at the meals presented after sailing, snorkeling and spending time with them and encouraged her to write this cookbook."
